     It wasn't Luce's fault. The fire that killed Trevor had nothing to do with her. It was those shadows. She's seen them all her life but no one else has. Until she kissed Trevor, then he saw them and burst into flames. Luce got blamed for everything. Now Luce is standing at the doorsteps of Sword and Cross, a maximum security school where she doen't fit in. She becomes friends with a girl named Adrianne. She meets many new people including a wonderfully nice guy named Cam and a mysterious boy named Daniel. Then everything gets shaken up, people die and love decides it can go on forever.
