By Jodi Picoult
What if the reason you were born was to save someone else? That's what Anna's life is like. She was born to save her sister Kate from leukemia. After giving blood, they needed more, then platelets, then this, then that, now it's a kidney. Anna refuses. She hires a lawyer to sue her parents for medical emancipation. Her parents try to reason with her but it is of no use.
This is a sad story of love, pain, regret, and most of all family.
I could not stop reading (and crying)! I give this book a 5 out of 5 * * * * *
