Julie has lived a hard life. After living on the streets for six months, she was rescued by Jim, who later became her husband. At twenty-five, Jim died of cancer and Julie was widowed. Now, eight years later, Julie has started dating again. She meets a man named Richard. He is nice, loving, and takes Julie on wonderful dates. But with Julie things just aren't clicking. When she realizes the man she likes is her old friend Mike , she starts dating him. Richard doesn't take no as an answer.
